A Success Story in Affordable Print Security

When a customer in the financial industry was recently looking to boost the security and functionality of their existing print devices, they turned to us as a trusted partner.  Their print environment consisted of a mid-sized color MFP and an HP single function laser printer. 

Their goals included the implementation of an integrated secure print release solution to help control and track output of sensitive documents by user.  Additionally, they needed a solution to scan paper documents and easily convert them to searchable PDFs.  Finally, it all had to be flexible and easy to use!

The customer’s third party IT vendor had previously seen a similar setup at another company but knew it had been complicated and pretty costly. 

Advanced Office was brought in to work with this customer and the IT vendor to come up with several options and feature sets that allowed them to choose the right solution for them.

With the new system in place, print, copy, scan, and fax jobs can be tracked by user with audit trails available as needed for compliance.  Users can key in a code or tap a badge to release print jobs.  Documents are easily scanned to searchable PDFs with the push of a button.

Without having to replace any existing hardware or install a larger solution, the customer was able to implement a full featured, less expensive system that was easy to use, accomplished all their goals, and still left room in the budget!
