Advanced Office Spotlight: Kaye Monachelli

The beginning of March marks an important milestone for Advanced Office with the move of our corporate headquarters. While we look expectantly to the future, it is essential to remember that these changes are possible because of where we started and the wonderful people who helped get us here. This month we would like to spotlight one such person who has been a great part of Advanced Office’s history as we move into the future: Kaye Monachelli.

Kaye retired last year to spend more time with her children and is looking forward to her first grandchild on the way!  She has been an amazing team member who has provided over 30 years of service with us. As an early female leader, she brought to us industry experience and a fantastic track record of success that continued with Advanced Office. Her story here is book ended by two awards: The Star Performer Award which she received in 1985 and 2018, her first and last year at Advanced Office. Throughout her time with us, she has been the very definition of a superstar. One of her many achievements is having the largest customer in Ricoh and Advanced Office history.

Any one who has worked with Kaye can attest that she is an inspiration as well as an enduring leader and performer. She once said with the utmost kindness and joy, “When you see obstacles, don’t let them stop you. You’ll have to go around, over, under or through, but get past them.”  Kaye has had her own share of obstacles to overcome and in spite of them she succeeds in all professional and personal aspects of life and does so with a vibrant personality, unwavering positivity, and genuine care for those around her. Preparing for retirement was a high-pressure and stressful time, and yet one would find her hard at work in the office greeting you with a bright smile.

We are grateful to have the time to appreciate our company’s history and Kaye Monachelli’s contributions, and we hope to keep Kaye’s lessons close and emulate her positive outlook.
