Advanced Office is proud to announce that we have earned the Ricoh Circle of Excellence award for 2018! This is the third straight year we have achieved this high honor, and we are grateful to all of our customers and employees that made this possible.

About the Ricoh Circle of Excellence Award

Each year, Ricoh assesses its many dealers and recognizes the "Best of the Best" with their Circle of Excellence Award.  It is designed to recognize dealers who provide outstanding service and support in accordance with Ricoh's strict guidelines and standards.  Only a small number of Ricoh's approximately 400 dealers nationwide earn this distinct honor.  We believe this award is an important symbol of our customer-first culture and a direct result of our commitment to our Customer-Focused 3 C's: Communicate, Clean, Care.

Qualification

The Ricoh Circle of Excellence award is earned by demonstrating excellence in a variety of areas, including service quality, speed, culture, training, and accountability. 

Prerequisites

In order to even be eligible, the dealer must demonstrate that it is of significant size and capability, serving its clients with commitment and consistency.  If an eligible office is then nominated by its employees, it can move on to the assessment.

Phase 1 - Service Skills

A dealer's service technicians must complete a rigorous test to evaluate the breadth of their service experience, qualification, and skills, with only the highest scoring technicians earning Prestige level certification.  At Advanced Office, we take this further.  While technical skills are critical, and we are proud of our Prestige level achievement, we know that it's not just that you fix something, it's how you fix something that makes a difference.  For more on this, see our article on Soft Skills.

Phase 2 - Service Operations and Accountability

In this part of the assessment, Ricoh evaluates a dealer's processes and documentation.  Advanced Office was proud to submit our regularly reviewed service metrics, training records, and other information for review by Ricoh on the following categories:

  • Use of Genuine (OEM) Ricoh Parts and Supplies
  • Hardware & Solutions Training
  • Relevant Industry Certifications
  • Service Organization Structure
  • Field Staff & Help Desk Productivity & Efficiency Measures
  • Customer Satisfaction Measurement Process & System
  • Effective Utilization of Ricoh Resources
  • Business Plan Management & Process Improvement
